With over two decades of experience in litigation and family law, Lina focuses on dissolution cases involving high-net-worth estates. She works closely with a variety of experts to move her cases forward, including forensic and financial experts who help facilitate the valuation of assets, including business interests, VC, private investments, real estate portfolios, intellectual property, and high-value collectibles. Lina has litigated cases in the public courthouse and before private judges. Lina drafts and negotiates prenuptial agreements as well.
In addition to being a skilled litigator and expert trial adviser, Lina is also a certified mediator and acts as a consulting attorney for clients engaged in mediation and represents clients who have chosen to mediate their cases privately, rather than litigate their cases in court.
Lina is committed to advocating for her clients, while providing strategic, efficient solutions tailored to each unique case. Lina takes the time to listen to her clients in order to best serve their individual needs and form meaningful and trusted relationships.
Lina is the author of “Divorce & Money: How to Make the Best Financial Decisions During Divorce.” She is often interviewed by national media and has been quoted for her expertise in family law by CNN, The New York Times, and CNBC. She’s authored hundreds of legal articles on a wide range of family law topics for Nolo.com and Divorcenet.com.

When she’s not working, Lina enjoys spending time with her family, fostering puppies and kittens from the local animal shelter while they wait to be adopted, taking road trips along the California coast, and trying new recipes at home.
